What You’l Get To Do:

As our Student Pastor, you’ll lead middle and high school students into a growing relationship with Jesus while building relationships with parents and equipping volunteers to do the same.

IMPORTANT: This isn’t a siloed role—you’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative Next Gen team that’s all-in on reaching our community and serving together.

Lead and Disciple Students

• Create and oversee weekly small group experience that creat a place for students to belong and grow in their faith. 
• Work with a team to plan and execute a once per month large group night designed to reach those who are not plugged into a local church and empower those that are. 
• Build authentic relationships with students and walk with them through life and faith

Equip and Lead Volunteers

• Build a healthy, growing team of leaders/Volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the life’s of the next generation. 
• Create systems for care, communication, and leadership development

Partner with Parents

• Provide consistent and clear communication with families to champion their role. 
• Equip parents as the primary spiritual influencers in their students’ lives.
• Create environments and resources that support families in discipleship.

What You Bring:

• A healthy and growing relationship with Jesus and a love for the local Church. 
• At least 5 years of experience leading in student ministry.
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage details
• A collaborative, humble spirit and a willingness to keep learning
• A desire to plant roots in Hampstead/Wilmington and invest long-term in the lives of students and families
