We have a Loving Father who hears us when we pray. The Bible tells us to make our requests known to God because He cares for us. Jesus himself taught us how to pray and modeled prayer for us during His ministry here on earth. Check out the resources below for more information!

Prayer is simply communicating with God. Isn’t it incredible that because of what Jesus did, we now have direct access to talk to God. At any moment, you can have a conversation with the Creator of the universe.

Don’t worry, there is no fancy wording or correct formula to pray; however, Jesus does give us a clear example of what prayer looks like in Matthew 6:9-15. We can use this prayer (commonly called The Lord’s Prayer) to model our prayer.

“Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
