FALL SERVE DAY
November 8th, 2025
Every year we have the opportunity to come together and serve our community. There are many projects where the entire family can participate. Simply select the project you’d like to serve with and register.
Serve Day Schedule
8:00am – Registration @ Topsail High School Parking lot
8:30am – Serve Day Rally
8:45am – Volunteers meet with Team Leaders
9:00am – Deploy to project sites
Topsail High School Front Entrance
This group will work with the Topsail Smile Project, a club at THS, to spruce up the front entrance of the high school by laying mulch and planting flowers.
Baked Goods for First Responders
This group will get the honor of baking some homemade treats to hand deliver to some of our first responders in the area.
Surf City Beach Clean Up
This group will divide into two groups and walk the beach to pick up trash and then come back on the road side to continue finding any debris to clean up to get our beaches prepared for the busy summer
North Topsail Elementary School
This group will be edging the grass around the pick up area and doing a trash sweep of the campus.
Laundry with Love (Holly Ridge)
This group will have the opportunity to bless some locals by paying for laundry and interacting with our community at the local laundromat.
Arbor Landing Bingo & Ice Cream
This group will get to have some fun with the residents at Arbor Landing by playing bingo and having an ice cream party. (Start time is at 10am)
Surf City Middle School
This group will assist one of our local middle schools by laying new mulch around the school to help spruce up the campus landscaping.
Salvation Army
This group will serve The Salvation Army by organizing the donations that have been collected and doing some light yard work around the building
Topsail School Clean Up
This group will walk around the three school campuses (THS, TMS, and Topsail Annandale) to pick up trash and debris.
Block Party (Foster Care Families)
This group will host a block party in their neighborhood, including food, drinks, games, music, etc for a fun way to serve their community. (Start time is at 10:30am)

This group will host a block party in their neighborhood, including food, drinks, games, music, etc for a fun way to serve their community. (Start time is at 10:30am)
South Topsail Elementary School
This group will serve one of our local elementary schools by painting some parking posts and weeding the front garden bed and around the school sign.
Block Party (Crown Point)
This group will host a block party in their neighborhood, including food, drinks, games, music, etc for a fun way to serve their community. (Start time is at 10:30am)
Greater Topsail Community Garden
This group will have the opportunity to partner with a local community garden to clean up flower beds, plant new plants, and do some general clean up.
Homemade Ornaments
This group will meet at our church office to work on some hand-crafted homemade Christmas ornaments. They will then hand deliver them to one of our local nursing homes.
Topsail Senior Center
Our local senior center needs some help with their front deck and ramp. This group will assist with cleaning up the ramp and painting.
Topsail High School Parking Lot
Out at Topsail High School they’ve asked if we can spruce up the medians in the student parking lot. They would like for us to help clean them up and then plant something to make them all uniform and look nice.
Topsail High School Fence Line
We started this project over the summer and finished all but one field. The field straight out in front of the school needs some work around the fence line to clean up and get rid of trees and vines.
Kiwanis Park
Kiwanis just opened Phase 4 a few months ago and they have asked us if we could assist with planting some bushes and trees to help spruce up the new area.
Dixon High School
This group will help clean up around Dixon High School by weeding and mulching their flower beds.
Surf City Elementary School
This group will assist one of our local elementary schools by washing interior and exterior walls and trimming bushes.
Safe Haven
This group will be painting one of the rooms in Haven Home as well as cleaning out and organizing the pantry and closet.
Bless a Neighbor (Elsie)
We have the opportunity to serve Mrs. Elsie, she is a 94 year old who is raising her 12 year old great granddaughter. This small group of people will serve Mrs. Elsie however she needs, from yard work to house cleaning and other chores.
Topsail Annandale Elementary School
This group will partner with one of our local elementary schools to help spruce up the staff lounge. This will include some cleaning, painting, and decorating.
Dixon Elementary School
One of our newest partnerships is with Dixon Elementary School. This group will partner with the school to help clean up some patio spaces as well as do some work in their greenhouse.
Parent Refueling Station – Kiwanis Park
This group will head out to one of our local parks to set up a “refueling station” for parents to get free iced coffee while their kids play at the park.

Dixon Middle School
We have a small group of people who are heading to Dixon Middle School for a prayer walk.
Lauren’s Hope – Painting Prep
Lauren’s Hope is a new, free pregnancy center in Surf City that we are partnering with to help spruce up the space for their clients.
Lauren’s Hope – Landscaping
This group will help improve the outside space around Lauren’s Hope by working on some of the landscaping.
Bless a Neighbor – Rochelle CG
The Rochelle CG will be serving one of the community group members who needs some assistance with yard work.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
This group will be participating in putting together shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Bless a Neighbor – Batson CG
The Batson CG will be serving one of their community group members whose spouse is deployed. They will do some yard work, clean up the garage, and install some hardware.
Block Party (Magnolia Reserve)
This group will host a block party in their neighborhood, including food, drinks, games, music, etc for a fun way to serve their community. (Start time is at 10:30am)
Meals on Wheels
This group will help deliver meals to some of the elderly who live in our community.
