Are you a passionate leader with a heart for kids and families? Renovation Church is looking for a Children’s Director to lead and support our birth through fifth-grade environments. In this role, you’ll oversee volunteers and ensure that RenoCity (birth–preschool) and Camp Renovate (kindergarten–5th grade) are running at the highest level every week. From casting vision to handling logistics, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation and making Sundays an unforgettable experience for kids and families.

What You’ll Get to Do //

• Lead and Inspire – Oversee and provide leadership for the RenoCity Coordinator and Camp Renovate Coordinator, helping them thrive in their roles.
• Develop Leaders – Continue to build a strong leadership pipeline by recruiting, training, and equipping volunteers for current and future growth.
• Empower Leaders – Oversee student and adult leaders serving in our children’s environments, ensuring they feel empowered, valued and connected.
• Create Excellent Experiences – Ensure quality, engaging, and safe environments for kids on Sundays and during KidMin events.
• Shepherd Kids & Families – Be a spiritual leader, providing biblical encouragement and discipleship to children and their families.
• Steward Resources – Manage the RenoKids budgets with wisdom and intentionality.
• Engage Parents – Keep families informed and connected through clear, consistent communication.
• Bring the Fun! – Help plan and execute unforgettable RenoKids events and trips

Necessary Skills and Qualifications //

1. 1. Must have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
   2. A gifted relational leader and a highly organized initiator and decision maker
   3. A team player and have the ability to work well in a multi-staff setting
   4. Ability to multi-task with high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
   5. Experience with event planning
   6. Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work independently as well as, part of a team.
   7. Ability to quickly identify problems and find solutions that uphold Renovation’s vision and values
   8. Self motivated and flexible
   9. Minimum one (3) year experience serving/leading in a kids or youth ministry role (preferred)
