Welcome To Camp Renovate

Camp Renovate is a Sunday morning environment for Kindergarten–5th grade students that captures the adventure and excitement of God’s word.

At Camp Renovate, kids will experience live skits, dramas, incredible worship, cool videos, and teaching. After large group time, leaders and kids break out into small groups that meet in classroom sized tents. The team at Camp Renovate are made up of a variety of volunteers that make it one of the best places to be during the week for an elementary age child.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

We know how confusing it can be visiting a church for the first time. Our priority for your child is to provide a safe and clean environment for your kids. We encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to give ample time for check-in and get acclimated with the campus.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive, look for the BIG BLUE TENT outside our Main Auditorium designated for first-time families. We will meet your family and one of our volunteers will lead you and your child to their age-appropriate area to be checked in.

We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

CHILD CHECK IN

You and your child will be given matching identification tags from the check-in kiosks in our kids environments. These tags are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s area.

THE RIDE HOME

We encourage parents to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week.

WHAT WE VALUE

CREATIVE BIBLE TEACHING

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

AGE-APPROPRIATENESS

Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child will understand. We are so passionate about kids learning this way that we encourage every family to utilize our RENOkids rather than having them in our adult environments.

FUN!

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.

RELATIONSHIPS

We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

SAFETY

Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored by security personnel.
